A site can work perfectly for you and be down for a customer in another region; an SSL certificate can quietly expire over the weekend; a product feed can break without a single signal. How it works

Checking from several locations at once

A site can open in one city and fail to answer in another, or from abroad — because of the hosting provider, the ISP or a CDN. So the platform runs each check in parallel from several locations, compares the results and works out whether this is a local problem in one region or a global outage.

As soon as checks start failing the platform switches into an intensive mode: it checks more often, opens an incident and sends a notification. And so that you are not buried under alerts from momentary flickers, notifications arrive with a short delay and without repeats.
