Find any VM in the cluster in a second

Dozens of Proxmox servers and a separate billing system — yet you need to know instantly where a given client machine lives and what state it is in. Servers Hive searches both worlds at once and takes you straight to the console.

The problem

VMs live in Proxmox,
clients live in billing

The infrastructure runs on a Proxmox cluster, while who pays for it and until when sits in a separate billing system. To find a client’s machine an engineer had to walk the servers by hand and cross-check billing. Servers Hive folded both worlds into a single search box.

How it is built

Sees the whole cluster and billing at once

In the background the panel walks every server in the cluster and pulls billing data in parallel, building one unified index. Search runs against that index — instantly, without polling each server in turn.

Capabilities

What the panel does

Unified search

One box finds a machine in the cluster and in billing at the same time — no switching between systems.

Direct cluster link

A purpose-built Proxmox integration sees every server and its VMs in real time.

Console in one click

Straight from a search result into the web console of that machine — no hunting through servers.

Resource card

CPU, memory, disks and networks are collected per machine automatically — all in one place.

Billing link-up

You see immediately who pays for a machine, on which plan and until when — up to 10,000 records at a time.

Multi-cluster

Add a new site in the admin panel and its servers are picked up automatically.

Under the hood

Four background jobs keep the data fresh

01 · machines Virtual machines Collects the list of VMs from every server in the cluster.
02 · hardware Resources Detail per machine: CPU, memory, disks and networks.
03 · load Metrics CPU and memory samples per server and per machine — for charts and trends.
04 · billing Payments Pulls data from the billing system and links it back to machines.
Load

The cluster under watch

Load samples build up into history — CPU trends and machine distribution across servers are both visible. The figures below are demo data.
